"A Rock & a Hard Place"
Have you ever had to make a decison where no matter what you decide, no one will be ultimately happy with the outcome? Everyone involved gets the shaft either in a large way or in a small way. It's an awful decision to make. I don't even know if there was a right decision to make in this case. That is what made it so hard.

What do you mean by right, morally right, in that case you have the great Spirit to guide you, but right as in the decision you should make, well when you make the choice than that, is in my opinion, the decision you should make because you already made it.
Most, if not all people are not going to be happy with decision, so they give themselves "the shaft," some people like it and others don't like it but they like the sympothy, personally I see no problem with a big african american detecive from the seventies, the Shaft is cool with me.
